Editorial Policy

This page states how our content is made and paid for. We publish it because a reader deserves to know whether what they are reading was influenced by money, and because a site that will not say is telling you something.

Who writes here

Every article carries a named author with a real byline and a linked profile. We do not publish under generic house names such as "Admin" or "Editorial Team", and we do not invent authors.

How we use AI

We teach AI, so it would be dishonest to pretend we do not use it. We use it for research assistance, outlining, and editing. We do not publish machine-generated articles without a human writing, verifying and taking responsibility for them. Every published piece is read end to end by a person before it goes live, and that person's name is on it.

We do not mass-generate articles to fill a publishing schedule. We publish less, later, rather than publish filler.

Accuracy and sourcing

• Claims about model behaviour are tested, not assumed
• Figures, benchmarks and dates are linked to a primary source
• We distinguish what a source says from what we infer from it
• We say when we are uncertain rather than rounding up to confidence

Corrections

When we get something wrong we fix it in place, note what changed, and update the modified date. We do not quietly delete errors. Report one via our contact page.

Independence and funding

PromptForge is funded by advertising, affiliate commission and paid products. None of these buys a favourable review, a ranking position, or removal of criticism. Sponsors see a piece at the same time as everyone else — they do not approve it before publication.

Sponsored content is labelled as sponsored. Affiliate links are disclosed on the page that contains them. If we cannot recommend a tool honestly, we do not take the money.
