Productivity AI Prompts

Every productivity prompt in the library — tested, copy-ready, and tagged with the model it works best on. Free to use in personal or commercial work.

Productivity prompts are the ones people reach for daily and rewrite from scratch every time — summarise this thread, turn these notes into actions, draft a reply, plan this week. The work is genuinely repetitive, which is exactly what makes it worth writing the prompt once properly.

The gain is not that AI does the task faster than you. It is that a well-specified prompt does it the same way every time, so the output lands in a shape you can use without rereading it.

How to use these

Most of these need one edit before they work for you: replacing the generic role with your actual context. "Summarise this meeting" and "summarise this meeting for someone who missed it and needs to know only what changed and what they now owe" produce different output, and the second is the one worth saving.

Add your constraints once and keep the result. The prompts here are starting structures, not finished artefacts — the version that works for you is the one carrying your format, your tone and your definition of done.

What to watch for

Two failure modes. The first is summarisation that quietly drops the thing you needed: models compress toward the general, so specify what must survive rather than what to remove. The second is invented detail in anything that reformats — a model turning notes into a task list will happily add an owner and a deadline nobody agreed. Check names, numbers and commitments before you act on them.
